The most beautiful driving roads around Geneva by supercar

2 min read

Geneva may be the only city in the world where you can have coffee by the lake, crest a Jura pass and drop back down onto a balcony over Mont Blanc — all before lunch. Our agency sits two minutes from the airport, in Meyrin: perfect for setting off quickly, in the right direction. Here are our favourite routes to turn a simple supercar rental into a proper road trip.

Col de la Faucille — the morning classic

Twenty minutes from the centre, the climb to La Faucille (1,323 m) strings together regular hairpins on well-kept tarmac. Leave early: before 8 am the road is nearly empty, and the plunging view over Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc is worth every alarm clock. It is the perfect playground for a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS — engine up to temperature, driver too.

The Salève — Geneva’s balcony

Just across the border, the Salève road climbs above the city in a few minutes. The hairpins tighten, the forest opens, and suddenly Geneva, its fountain and the whole lake arc unfold beneath your wheels. A short escape, perfect late in the day for the low light.

The Jura ridges — the big exhale

From Col de la Givrine to the Marchairuz via La Dôle, the ridge road unrolls long, wide, quiet stretches through pastures and spruce forests. It is the dream setting to let a Ferrari 296 GTB or an Audi RS6 breathe, between two panoramas over the lake and the Alps.

Around Lake Annecy — the nature day

Head south into neighbouring France: allow a full day to reach Annecy and loop its lake, one of the purest in Europe. Talloires, the Col de la Forclaz, the perched villages… Just plan the cross-border authorisation — it is added to your contract on request.

On to the Alps: Gstaad and Verbier

For the great escape, aim for the resorts: Gstaad via the Pays-d’Enhaut, or Verbier up the Rhône valley. Passes, alpine pastures, timber villages: a G 63 or a Cayenne Turbo GT are in their element here, with all-weather traction you can count on.

Our advice before you go

  • Leave early in the morning: minimal traffic, ideal light for photos.
  • Observe the speed limits religiously — Swiss cameras show no mercy.
  • Check that the passes are open (generally May to October).
  • Mention your route in your enquiry: we will tailor the mileage package.

The whole fleet is available for collection at our Meyrin agency, two minutes from the airport, or by delivery on request. Send us your enquiry with your dates: we prepare the car, you prepare the playlist.
